Aluminium Oxide
Aluminum oxide is a virgin fused abrasive that is used as a blasting media. It is a tough, medium density abrasive that is cost-effective in blasting processes due to its recyclability. It is commonly used for both cold and hot abrasive blasting because it has excellent thermal stability, thermal shock resistance and good impact strength. Aluminum oxide is also resistant to rust, meaning that it can be used in wet blasting.
